Water Cooled Condenser & Evaporator
A water-cooled condenser and evaporator are two essential components used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. They work together to facilitate the heat transfer process and maintain the desired temperature within the system.
1. Water-Cooled Condenser:
   - The water-cooled condenser is responsible for rejecting heat from the refrigerant to the surrounding water.
   - It receives the high-pressure, high-temperature refrigerant vapor from the compressor.
   - As the refrigerant flows through the condenser, it releases heat to the water circulating around the condenser tubes.
   - The water absorbs the heat and becomes warmer, while the refrigerant condenses into a liquid state.
   - The condensed refrigerant is then sent to the expansion valve to continue the refrigeration cycle.
   - Water-cooled condensers require a separate water source, such as a cooling tower or a water supply, to circulate the cooling water.
2. Water-Cooled Evaporator:
   - The water-cooled evaporator is responsible for absorbing heat from the desired space or product.
   - It receives the low-pressure, low-temperature refrigerant from the expansion valve.
   - As the refrigerant enters the evaporator, it evaporates by absorbing heat from the surrounding air or the product being cooled.
   - The evaporating refrigerant extracts heat energy, causing the air or product to cool down.
   - The refrigerant vapor is then drawn into the compressor to continue the refrigeration cycle.
   - Similar to the water-cooled condenser, the water-cooled evaporator requires a separate water source to circulate the cooling water.
